"THE ONE" PART 2

Tamara reluctantly looked over her shoulders to the phone on her bed. She knew that both of them might have called or left messages. It is a good thing none of them knew where she lived. This time around she took an off app cab outside the club so there was no way Hans would trace her and neither would Zack. She looked back blankly out of the misty window. She was hesitant about picking the phone let alone turning it on. She wasn’t sure what she would find. Both men had a right to be mad, they probably had talked when she left them and discovered she was seeing them both at the same time.  The ding-dong from the door-bell startled her. She tightened her bathrobes straps.  Zack paced up and down the living room. He almost felt every fiber of the bohemian rug beneath his bare feet. He subconsciously tapped the rim of his whiskey half-glass. She still hadn’t switched her phone on. He has no way finding her if not through the phone. He paced over to the decanter and refilled the glass he h

26 LESSONS IN 26 YEARS

Life in God is pleasant, its beautiful to connect with the One who owns you, who knew you before you existed and knows your future. The planner, architect and builder of your life. He is a firm foundation in whom am founded on. 

There is an assurance in knowing and understanding that in the various seasons of our lives, we ought not to put God in a box, because what He does is exceeding and abundantly beyond what our mind can fathom. 

In the past season of my life, I have learnt to ask and trust God to expand my desires and capacity. I want to think in His frequency. I want to soar and think in the direction of God. 
Well it's not my birthday today but I thought it best to  share some of the things I have learnt this far. I trust it will inspire you to become better. Kindly Follow through:

1.I am made in the image and likeness of God. Meaning, in me is the nature and character of my Father. Therefore whatever He commands me to be or to do, I am. 

2.I am the only one who can block me from achieving my goals and desires. 

3.Your past doesn't entirely dictate your future. Its never late to start all over again.

4.Until you take responsibility for yourself, you cannot become all God hopes for you. 

5.You will never be able to count all of God's thoughts towards you! You are loved beyond your present knowledge and understanding.

6.God is actually a true and good Father, to begin to understand that, you need to open up your heart for Him to introduce you to that aspect of His being.

7.You don't have to lower yourself to meet another person's expectation of you. You must only rise to what God expects of you. Be fully the image God gives you. Its easier. 

8.You are entitled to your space, guard it and know that you are the only one who can permit what comes in to your environment.

9.God isn't mad at you for not praying. But He desires a better relationship with you. 

10.It takes a habit to break or make something. And you can create a habit within 21days of continuously doing one thing consistently.

11.Guarding your heart helps you see life in a positive way. Bitterness brings in darkness.

12.You cannot delete the image of God. And you are God's image.Meditate on that.

13.People see and carry you in line to how you view yourself. 

14.Marriage is not for selfish individuals, its for the selfless. 

15.Its better to stay longer before you are married than to spend the rest of your days crying to God about a wrong marriage. Good meals take time to get prepared.

16. You win people through love. It is growth on our part to let and help other people grow in their gifts and character.

17.Your capacity to think is your greatest asset. Mature thinking produces mature living. 

18.There are no marriage problems, we only get into marriage with singlehood problems. 

19.Beautiful women are  those who build each other up and speak well of their peers. 

20.The only way to become bold is to face your fears with what God has given us in Christ.

21.Unless you arise from your comfort zone and fears, your audience will not know you. People will miss out on the life and light you carry for them.

22.You can change your life through your mind and your tongue. Meditation helps in profiling your mind and the mind dictates what you say and eventually become.

23.Nothing comes easy, you got to do beyond the ordinary to get something extra. 

24.Those who can offer solutions to challenges that face humanity are not only honoured, but  also get to define culture. 

25.As a woman, don't wait for a man to come sweep you off your feet and to always give you, work towards being a blessing both spiritually, mentally, materially, emotionally and in all ways to that guy that you desire. 

26.You cannot solve all people's problems and you cannot give what you don't have. You give from a fullness. 

Psalms 92:12-14 The [uncompromisingly] righteous shall flourish like the palm tree [be long-lived, stately, upright, useful, and fruitful]; they shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon [majestic, stable, durable, and incorruptible]. Planted in the house of the Lord, they shall flourish in the courts of our God. [Growing in grace] they shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap [of spiritual vitality] and [rich in the] verdure [of trust, love, and contentment].

MY BIRTH STORY 2.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord the maker of heaven and earth. Knowing God was with me through birth brought comfort, assurance and strength. Even now that I am going through motherhood, the verse above has been and is my anchor in so many ways.  After birth of a baby, what follows is the removal of the placenta. A woman's body is such a wonder and wired for motherhood that the placenta is not part of your body organs but as soon as conception happens during the first trimester the placenta grows and this helps to support and nourish the  growing baby during pregnancy. After you give birth it cannot continue staying in the body and a new one is usually formed with every pregnancy. So after baby is out you also expell the placenta.
